The New York Times: The New York Film Festival will screen the world premiere on opening night, September 24, before it's released everywhere October 1.

Sony/Columbia Pictures released a teaser trailer for The Social Network a couple days ago. There's no actual footage but you can hear a brief exchange between Rashida and Jesse Eisenberg, who stars as Mark Zuckerberg.
